Lee Reed

Lee Reed is in his ninth year as the director of intercollegiate athletics (Francis X. Rienzo chair) at Georgetown University. Reed oversees one of the largest broad-based intercollegiate athletics programs in the nation with 29 varsity programs and 700 student-athletes, 12 percent of the undergraduate population at Georgetown. Throughout Reed’s tenure, Georgetown Athletics has claimed six team national championships as well as 30 conference tournament and regular season championships.
Reed received his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University, where he was a basketball standout for the Vikings. He received his master's in sports administration from the University of New Mexico, where he also served as an assistant men’s basketball coach.
