Katherine Marshall
School of Foreign Service
Katherine Marshall is a senior fellow at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and a professor of the practice of development, conflict, and religion in the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She joined the Georgetown University faculty in 2006.
International activities include:
- Worked at the World Bank from 1971 to 2006 in a variety of leadership positions
- Helped to create and now serves as the executive director of the World Faiths Development Dialogue
- Serves as a member of the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid at the U.S. Agency for International Development
- Was a core group member of the Council of 100, an initiative of the World Economic Forum to advance understanding between the Islamic World and the West
- Has authored or co-authored eight books and multiple journal articles on global development issues
